Church Mission is to make sure regulations, additional to those found in the New Testament, and in harmony with those principles in the New Testaments, best adopted to its situation and circumstances: relying upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit, for the promotion of the Kingston of Christ, the practice of brotherly love, growth in Grace, a true spiritual development and for the accomplishment of the Grant design for which the Church was established on earth. Let us come near to God with an honest and true heart. Let us come near with a faith that is sure and strong. Let us hold firmly to the hope we claim to have. The One who promised is faithful. Let us consider how we can stir up one another to love. Let us help one another to do good works. Let us not give up meeting together. Let us cheer each other up with words of hope.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID—19) CHURCH September 12, 2020 UPDATES
Dear Mt. Gillion BC Members
As you are aware, Governor John Bel Edwards announced Friday, September 11 that Louisiana will move to Phase Three of reopening the state. With that order, churches can reopen at 75% capacity as long as social distancing practices are adhered to. Plans are underway now to reopen our church for Sunday services on September 27th. To prepare to reopen the church responsibly and adhere to the 75% capacity requirement, a response from you of your desire to attend in-person service is needed.
We will continue to have live-streamed services on Facebook (Mt. Gillion Baptist Church - Ascension) or you can call the following number 415-762-9988 and when prompted add the access code 404-826-6305 to listen to the message.
